武打巨星鄭佩佩近年退出幕前，在美國跟仔女度過退休生活。鄭佩佩先後為前夫原文通八度懷孕，可惜四度流產，終擁有三女一子，這六人家庭的生活只維持約兩年時間，鄭佩佩跟原文通離婚，一個人湊大四名子女。四名子女當中，最為觀眾熟悉的是三女原子鏸和孻仔原和玉，兩人都先後入行拍劇拍戲或拍攝綜藝節目。

原子鏸兩年前誕下愛兒Matys，特別帶埋囝囝同老公飛美國探媽媽鄭佩佩，鄭佩佩見到混血孫仔非常興奮開心，笑到見牙唔見眼。今次輪到細仔原和玉嘞！他在社交平台分享跟懷孕妻子的合照，見腹大便便，懷疑有五個月以上。快將榮升爸爸的原和玉一臉笑容，他在言裡行間流露出憂心。「太太Andrea和我要生孩子了！到達這個地方對我們來說是一段漫長的旅程。找到一個有愛心、有同理心，與你有相同價值觀的伴侶已經夠難的了。現在我們要在這個組合中加入一名嬰兒，我不會撒謊，我很害怕。但是，有了像Andrea這樣的伴侶，我相信我們可以養育出一個好人。」
原和玉坦言，當想到要做爸爸，有很多反思和焦慮，都是跟原生家庭有關，他說：「『我想要一個孩子嗎』這個問題花了我好幾年的時間才想起來，老實說，我不會掉以輕心。我來自一個破碎的家庭，一想到要讓我的孩子重蹈我父親的覆轍，我就非常焦慮。」他認為沒有一位父親是完美，就算做錯了，就坦白告訴孩子「自己犯了錯」，努力改進自己，「這個世界上有80億人，我希望看到大多數人為他們的錯誤負責。做到這一點的最好方法是以身作則，所以我將盡我所能，向我們的孩子展示如何在這個世界上生存。」

原子鏸見到弟弟報喜，都立即留言：「迫不及待地想看到你們體驗生命中這美好的時刻。這真的將是最奇妙的旅程。你會更多地了解自己。Matys也心急等待著他的小表弟。愛你們倆！」
原和玉遺傳到媽媽鄭佩佩的好身手，經常挑戰攀巖、滑雪板、山地自行車等極限運動，同時還擔任國家地理頻道多檔紀錄片的主持人，曾在《中國好功夫》節目中挑戰踩高蹺、舞獅、滾油燈等多項傳統特技。2014年跟媽媽鄭佩佩拍攝內地節目《年代秀》，隨後2015至2016年參與《Route Awakening寰行中國》、《極速前進第二季》、《非凡搭檔》及《我在貴州等你》等節目。原和玉很疼錫媽媽，每年母親節或媽媽的生日，他都會分享跟母子生活照，雖然自小跟爸爸分開，其實他跟原子鏸等不時跟爸爸食飯見面，關係良好。

@andrea._.loeffler and I are having a baby! It’s been a long journey for us to get to this place. To find a partner that is loving, empathetic, and shares the same value as you is hard enough. Now we are adding a baby into this mix, and I’m not going to lie, I am scared. But, with a partner like Andrea I am confident we can parent a good human.
My own personal journey to deciding to be a dad involved many journeys and self reflection. It seems like a reflex for people to think that having a kid is the best thing someone can do. I just don’t agree. I think it is something people can do if they have given it enough thought and self reflection. The question, “DoI want to have a child,” took me years to come to and I honestly don’t take it lightly.
I came from a broken home and the thought of repeating the relationship that I have with my father to my own child gives me serious anxiety. It took me years to grow up enough to think that I can offer up something that might resemble a good character or model for a child. And even still, I’m not 100% certain. I realize no father is perfect, and to uphold and try to be a perfect figure is impossible. It’s not if I mess up, it’s what I’m going to do when I mess up. Admitting to my own mistakes, telling my child that I made a mistake, and how I am going to work on improving is what I aim to accomplish. There are 8 billion people in this world and I’d love to see a majority accounting for their mistakes. The best way to do this is lead by example, so I’m going to do my best to show our child how to be in this world.
